1. Payment Processing
All payments for Houdin premium subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our trusted payment partner. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions and handles billing, payment processing, and refunds in accordance with their terms and applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Premium Subscriptions
- 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or subscription renewal.
- Pro-rated Refunds: For annual subscriptions, refunds after 14 days may be processed on a pro-rated basis at our discretion.
- EU/UK Consumer Rights: Customers in the EU and UK have additional rights under consumer protection legislation.
2.2 Browser Extension
- Since our core browser extension is free, refunds apply only to premium features and subscriptions purchased through Paddle.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Purchases made more than 14 days ago (unless exceptional circumstances apply or required by law)
- Subscriptions where premium features have been extensively used during the refund period
- Violations of our Terms of Service
- Purchases made with promotional credits or coupons (unless required by law)

5.1 Cancellation

- Approved refunds result in immediate loss of premium features

- Most issues can be resolved quickly without involving your bank

- Chargebacks are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record
- Disputed charges may result in account suspension pending resolution
- We work with Paddle to provide necessary documentation for chargeback disputes
